To register a domain, kindly follow the steps below.
- Check on the internet to determine if the domain name is available. To do this, simply type the domain name on your web browser and see if a page opens.
- If you ascertain that the name is not taken i.e. available for registration, send ksh 999 by MPesa to 0722 919279 or ksh 1989 if you desire both a domain and hosting account.
- Once you receive an MPesa confirmation, sms the desired domain name to the same number i.e. 0722 919279 including your full names, postal address and email address.
- If you are hosting the domain on another server, include the nameservers in the sms
- The domain name will be registered and where a hosting account is also being purchased, created and the login in credentials sent by sms.
- Detailed instructions on how to use the account will be sent to the email address provided.
- Roughly, it takes about 2 hours for the domain registration process to be resolved on the internet although the confirmation that the domain has been registered takes less than 15 minutes.
